However, these were people who could dive into their problems and surface with the right solutions.
The power of Mindfulness
Have you ever wondered why you have worries or unwanted thoughts? Sometimes it seems like everyone around you is perfectly happy and focused, and you are the only one with worries and concerns, the only one with unwanted thoughts flowing around in your head. Truth is, almost everyone experiences these unwanted thoughts. Worrying about something that might happen in the future or reliving something that had happened in the past. For example, it might be something that someone said to you, it can be a bad argument that you had with a loved one, or it can be a sad or a tragic event in your life. No matter what it is, it is something that has already happened, yet we think about it so much that we find ourselves almost relieving it. Having these thoughts is a habit that most of us have developed over the years.
When you obsessively think about a bad event, you are taking yourself through the same range of emotions over and over again. relieving the pain and sadness of that moment, but, the reality is, that is over, and you now have a choice where you can decide to relieve the moment or if you draw conclusions and grow from it.
Meditation, on the other hand, helps strengthens your mind to pay attention in the present moment, and unjudgemental. Most importantly, you will be able to fully enjoy the moment that you are in, you will be able to concentrate on what you want to concentrate on without been distracted by worries of the future or thoughts of the past. You will be fully present at this moment, the one that matters most right now. So, therefore, I encourage you to try meditation and mindfulness as often as you can to help keep your focus and create calmness when necessary.
So what do you think?
